MEDIA SERVICES
Media Services IS NOW Academic Technology. To improve customer service to the university community we are reorganizing the Information Services Division to more closely align technology support functions, leverage existing skill sets, and create synergies that yield increased efficiency. Academic Technology will combine the previous Media Services group with two offices that currently reside in the Information Technology Department: the Field Support/Student Technical Services group, and the Help Desk/Applied Technology group. The transition of the IT groups into the new Academic Technology Department will occur over the next three months to take effect.
Academic Technology supports and facilitates the application of computing, media technology, and non-print media resources to support and enhance teaching, learning, scholarship, and administrative services, as well as other campus activities and events. We are committed to continuous, long-term improvement to meet the university's needs in an exceptional way.
